SITE SPECIFIC SAFETY PLAN (SSSP)

 
Toilet facilities shall be provided as required for the number of workers.

An adequate supply of potable water shall be provided. The use of a common drinking cup is prohibited.

Provisions will be made prior to commencement of the project for prompt medical attention in case of serious injury, to include emergency telephone numbers, transportation, and communications.

When no medical facility is reasonably accessible (time and distance) to the worksite, a person who has a valid certificate of first aid training will be available at the worksite to render first aid.

Employees must be protected against exposure to hazardous noise levels by controlling exposure or by use of proper personal protective equipment.

Protection against exposure to harmful gases, fumes, dust, and similar airborne hazards must be furnished through proper ventilation or personal respiratory equipment.

Any demolition work will be assessed for lead exposure (particularly if drywall or any painted surfaces or abrasive blasting/grinding is involved) and/or asbestos exposure.
