INVITATION TO BID 

Qualified contractors and suppliers are invited to bid and may obtain plans and bid documents in electronic form from the Construction Manager, KW Brown Construction, Bid Clerk, CDC, BidScope/The Blue Book and Dodge.

Please address all questions regarding this project in written form to the Construction Manager.  All questions must be submitted no later than five (5) days before bid date.  The bid must acknowledge all addenda, include references from the last two (2) years, and be signed by a company official.  

Bids with accompanying references must be received at the Construction Manager's office by mail, fax, or email.  Contracts will be awarded in the best interest of the owner.  Once proposal/Letter of Intent is signed, AIA contracts shall be completed and executed reflecting all terms and conditions.  Successful bidders must submit detailed Schedule of Values and submittal packages with shop drawings to the Construction Manager within ten (10) days after contract is fully executed.

Radha Krishna Temple - Phase I 

PROPOSALS:

All bids are to be on the bid form furnished by the Construction Manager accompanied with a company letter head dated and signed by a company official listing a 24 hr contact information. Include a statement that each bid includes all materials, labor, and superintendence for completing that portion of the work according to the project plans, specifications, and addendums unless expressively stated as exclusion.  

Bid proposals may be withdrawn and resubmitted at any time prior to the time set for opening of the bids, but no proposal may be withdrawn or altered thereafter.

If a bid is accepted a list of references shall be furnished detailing recent completed projects listing owner, architect, and or engineer with contact information. Bid only on the work or materials you are accustomed to providing.

Bid proposals shall be guaranteed for 30 days from date of bid. The biding contractor shall not sub out the work of the contract except minor support items.

COMPLIANCE:

All contractors must comply with the city of Allen Texas, State and U.S. Government laws, regulations, license, and ordnances.

TAXES:

A tax exempt certificate will be issued to each contractor/supplier for the Materials furnished and consumed on this project only.

TIME OF COMPLETION:

As time is of the essence each contract will include a time for the contractor to complete each phase of the project. The contractor must do all diligence to complete his work within the time allotted.

INSURANCE:

Each contractor shall provide with the contract, a listing of both automobile and personal liability, workers compensation, insurance coverage currently in force, along with a copy of a certificate of insurance as verification of that coverage. Liability Coverage must be sufficient to satisfy the city of Allen Texas and include City of Allen as insured.
